Hell Yeah or No. Why hybrid work can become toxic. Google graveyard.
Journal of discoveries #75 - 16th of September, 2023
Welcome to the 75th issue of the newsletter, “Journal of discoveries.” Each week, I check a list of hundreds of sources of inspiration to spot exciting articles, videos, podcasts, and books on personal development, leadership, management, technology, and innovation.
Let’s dive in!
One “must read” for this week
“Hell Yeah or No” by Derek Sivers.
Derek says that most of us have lives filled with mediocrity. We said yes to things we felt half-hearted about, so now we’re too busy to react when opportunities come our way.
We miss out on the great because we’re busy with the mediocre.
The solution is to say yes to less.
If we’re not feeling “Hell yeah, that would be awesome!” about something, say no.
It’s an easier decision. Say no to almost everything. This starts to free your time and mind.
