By reinforcing these misinformed dogmas through parenting and education, we leave future generations ill-prepared to thrive in a complex, interconnected world.
Instead, according to Haidt: "Children are anti-fragile; we are prone to confirmation bias, to tribalism and black-and-white thinking."
